Beach run 27-02-16

After doing a few Saturday chores, as my last destination was on George street, I thought I’d run¬†a quick loop up through Seaton park and along the beach to round the day off.

Passing along the Don, this tree has fallen and lodged in this unlikely position suspended 20 feet up like an aerial walkway. The squirrels will love this

The recent floods have produced a nice crop of photogenic logs in the river and on the banks

The promenade was back to back with heart-attack cages, creeping impatiently along an inch at a time, laden with baubles and tat from the weekly worship at the malls.

I picked my way through the steel jam, crossing over to the edges of the golf course

There were no owls to be seen today (I suspect being a Saturday the massed ranks of golfers, dog walkers and back to back cars were too much) but there were some oystercatchers poking about on the edges of the golf course.
